Dare To Lead, Rising Strong, Stay A Little Awkward, Brave Hard Conversations and Always Kind. Brene Brown Shares The Best Shift. Grounded Human Stories, Extensive Research Base and Heart Centred Living. Most Importantly, Brene Laughs Readily (at her self firstly) Is Wicked Wise and Totally Mischievous.

Om Ellie & Yogi Bear, Channelling Harriet & Brene
"This two-episode special is based on a course that Dr. Harriet Lerner and I did together on her groundbreaking book, “Why Won’t You Apologize?: Healing Big Betrayals and Everyday Hurts.” You can expect authentic, hard conversations (and one helluva role play) about making mistakes, healing hurts, and being brave. Harriet is a friend, mentor, and teacher. Her work has shaped my career and made my life better. During a time of deep uncertainty and anxiety – when many of us have struggled to be our best selves all of the time – apologizing has never been more important." ~ Brene Brown

Reframing Learning, Lead Learners Are Actively Mentoring Self Directed Learners and Creative Learning. Farewell Passive Paradigms of Filling The Empty Vessel with "That's The way We've Always Done It", Schools, Education and Design Thinking, No More Excuses.

"Yes and ... Not Yes, but..." Expansive Opportunities For Educational Change. Fresh Education Makes So Much Sense. PISA Does NOT Matter. Never, Ever.

There’s an urban legend that Winston Churchill, near the end of World War II, once said “never let a good crisis go to waste.” President Obama’s chief of staff, Rahman Emanuel, certainly said similar words in 2009 after the Global Financial Crisis. Is the crisis in education today caused by the coronavirus an opportunity to make lasting and positive change? How can we be sure not to waste this moment by returning to normal?
Yong Zhao joins me to talk about educational change in the time of COVID-19. He argues that we must change the “yes, but” attitude to a “yes, and” collaborative approach. We must be innovative and work together to redesign education systems into something new. He’s hoping to see more self-directed learning emerge out of this crisis as well as a shift towards the humanities and philosophy.
Yong Zhao is a Foundation Distinguished Professor in the School of Education at the University of Kansas. His newest book is entitled Teaching Students to Become Self-Determined Learners (ASCD, 2020).

An Antidote To Chaos. A Full Loving Life Worth Living, Now.

“No tree can grow to Heaven,”
says Carl Gustav Jung, psychoanalyst extraordinaire,
“unless its roots reach down to Hell.”

Spectrum & Spirals
Be Full Spectrum Alive ~ Creation, Feel It All ~  Be The Flow
The Most Alive Branches Spiral To Heaven as Real Roots Reach to Hell
Share Truth graciously, listen, weep, smile, speak of joys and sorrow,
Return To An Ever Widening Centre Channel,
Spectrum, Rest, Restore, Replenish,
Spiral, We Rise Again.

What is your friend: the things you know, or the things you don't know?
First of all, there's a lot more things you don't know.
And second, the things you don't know is the birthplace of all your new knowledge.

So if you make the things you don't know your friend, rather than the things you know,
well then you're always on a quest in a sense.

You're always looking for new information in the off chance that somebody who doesn't agree with you will tell you something you couldn't have figured out on your own

It's a completely different way of looking at the world.
It's the antithesis of opinionated.

Intolerance of others’ views
(no matter how ignorant or incoherent they may be)
is not simply wrong; in a world where there is no right or wrong, it is worse:
it is a sign you are embarrassingly unsophisticated or, possibly, dangerous.

Don’t underestimate the power of vision and direction.
These are irresistible forces, able to transform what might appear to be unconquerable obstacles into traversable pathways and expanding opportunities.

Strengthen the individual. Start with yourself.

Take care with yourself.
Define who you are.
Refine your personality.

Choose your destination and articulate your Being.
As the great nineteenth-century German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche so brilliantly noted,

“He whose life has a why can bear almost any how.”

A Deck Life in Heavenly Paradise ~ This Morning Glory, Having Coffee, With Her.
A Gracious, Gorgeous, Home. The On Point Light House, Shining Love.

So surrender and accept, dive deeper for pearls as we see clearly Now,

Life is suffering
Love is the desire to see unnecessary suffering ameliorated
Truth is the handmaiden of love
Dialogue is the pathway to truth
Humility is recognition of personal insufficiency and the willingness to learn
To learn is to die voluntarily and be born again, in great ways and small
So speech must be untrammelled

So that dialogue can take place
So that we can all humbly learn
So that truth can serve love
So that suffering can be ameliorated
So that we can all stumble forward to the Kingdom of God
That We All Are, already.

And gently remember;
Hold Truth Ever So Lightly,

Thinking Ideologies, the intellect
are not substitutes for true knowledge, a true surrender to creation's uncertainty.

Thinking ideologues are always dangerous when they come to power,
because a simple-minded
"I-know-it-all approach"
"I have THE solution"
"I know THE Way Forward"

is no match for the simple complexity of infinite spontaneous creation.

So Instead,

Be In Awe,
More.

Look Up.
Look Forward,
Fresh Horizons,
Simply wonder...?

Our Simple, Soft, Centred,
Absolute True Potent Nature is
This Full Spectrum of Infinite Grounded Creation.

The Paradox of Fully Living,
Accepting Not Knowing,
Accepting Each Moment,
Embrace These Alive Breathing Spirals of Each Minute Moment of Now as The End.
Embrace The Presence of Energy In Motion.
Remember Who We Are.
Remember who we Always Have Been.
Remember who we always will Be.

This Whole. As Creation. As Nature. No Waiting,
Right Now.

“To stand up straight with your shoulders back is to accept the terrible responsibility of life, with eyes wide open.
It means deciding to voluntarily transform the chaos of potential into the realities of habitable order.
It means adopting the burden of self-conscious vulnerability, and accepting the end of the unconscious paradise of childhood, where finitude and mortality are only dimly comprehended.
It means willingly undertaking the sacrifices necessary to generate a productive and meaningful reality (it means acting to please God, in the ancient language).”
